We, at Mercating®, are committed to become an eco-friendly and self-sustaining marketing agency. We believe that, although it may take years to reach to that level, managing most of our documentation digitally it’s the best and simplest way to start with such a vision.

However, this isn't written in stone. If you ever require or prefer to sign or approve documentation in the traditional way, feel free to let us know, we'll always have our pen ready.

Now, let's dive into how to sign online documents via Pipedrive.

1. Review and sign

When you're invited to sign a document, your project manager will send you a "Signature Request" to your email address, just like the one below. For security reasons, before clicking on any buttons or links, we recommend you to double-check that:

  1. Your project manager's full name is correct,
  2. Your project manager is sending you the document in question, and
  3. The document was submitted through pipedrive.com.

Once you confirm the invitation, click on the button "Review and sign" to open the online document.

Important: If you notice something unusual, contact your project manager for confirmation.

2. Sign the document

Next, review the online document. Reach out to your project manager if you have any questions.

If you agree, click on "Sign the document" button located on the top right of your screen. To decline, click on the drop-down button "More", and finally, click on "Decline to sign".

If you choose to download and print the document for signing on paper, click on "More", then, "Download as PDF".

3. Copy/Paste the authentication code

To start the digital signing validation process, Pipedrive will automatically send you an authentication code to the email address we have on file. Once you receive it, copy or write this 6-digit code down.

Important: Don't forget to verify the email comes from @pipedrive.com.

4. Enter the authentication code

To validate your signing, enter or paste the authentication code into the field, and click on "Sign".

If you don't receive any code, click on "Send new code". If the issue remains after a few minutes, contact your project manager to double-check your email address on file.

5. Sign the document

To complete the signing process, activate the checkbox to declare you have a legal right to sign, type your full name, and click on "Continue".

6. Receive the signed documents via email

Lastly, Pipedrive will send you an email with the documents signed by everyone involved in the process.

Note that you won't receive the documentation until everyone has completed the process.

If you have any questions or concerns about this process or documentation, feel free to reach out to us before starting it.
